Jamaica five of the best! Some tips about airport transfers

You arrive in gorgeous Jamaica… Be ready for queues going through Immigration and Customs but don’t worry, there are good restaurants and duty-free shops. And here’s a Tip – don’t queue up at the first shop, there are two more along the concourse for gates 8-16!motego

Airport transfer to c is easy by bus, van or taxi. Come through Customs Hall and there are loads of transport desks. Tip – exit door on right for the airport taxi stand. The Airport Route Taxis are very cheap for short trips and you flag them down anywhere; the Tourist Taxis are more comfortable and both have red licence plates.
Choose a mini bus for longer trips but expect them to be full and no air-con!
Tip – check your hotel as they may do free Montego Bay Transportation from the airport.

And so to our Top Five. Well, Montego Bay is a great choice! It’s the lively tourist capital with beautiful beaches and 2 world-class golf courses and it’s a favourite place for weddings, honeymoons or just a romantic getaway. Then there’s Negril, lively and beautiful with its cliffs and Seven Mile beach and caves and diving places – a superb spot! Now onto Goldeneye where Ian Fleming lived and wrote many of the James Bond stories – another charming, lovers’ place to escape to and you might even spot Johnny Depp or Jay Z there! And Jamaica offers you Blue Lagoon in Portland…fabulous Dunn’s River Falls where you can swim with the dolphins at Dolphins Cove and finally you just have to say hello to Ocho Rios…wide, white beaches and classy golf courses.
