Jamaica – jewel of the caribbean

There’s not a single sport or leisure activity that’s not to be found on this glorious island: a magical haven that’s given us Bob Marley and Usain Bolt!

So, climb up the breathtaking Dunns River Falls then, for another adventure, do the Chakka ATV Safari on quad-bikes…off-road fun and mountain bike tours; then try bob-sledding rides on Mystic Mountain with zip-lining, waterslides and the aerial tramway – the sure way to learn about the rainforest canopy! Wow!
Jamaica boasts 12 – yes 12 – golf courses! Practice your swing or caddy up for the full 18 holes…there’s a course for every player so golf for every level.

And do you fancy hiking or trekking among tropical plants and flowers on the misty Blue  Mountains or bareback horse-riding from the Braco Stables on the beach? The beach leads you to swimming in the warm Caribbean waters with snorkelling and scuba excursions! Ask around for the best deals though ‘cos you can get a bargain deal so don’t take the first guy – shop around, ok?

A real must are the Nine Mile and Negri 7 Mile beaches – the birth and burial place of the late, great Bob Marley – then relax at the famous Rick’s Café to watch cliff-diving…this place is just so cool for you! It has everything! And how many of your mates back home can boast that they’ve done reggaie with Marley!!

And you’d better do the fabulous catamaran boating or deep-sea fishing on the phenomenal waters of Negril, it’s there waiting for you, as are river-rafting and dune buggies at Montenegro Bay and – if you have energy left – swimming with bottlenose dolphins!

The list is endless, yet still to mention are paintballing, cycling and more boating…yes! Watching posh yachts in the Errol Flynn Marina…JAMAICA – JEWEL OF THE CARIBBEAN!
